So erscheint es im Zuge der Globalisierung mit freiem Warenverkehr, transnationalen Konzernen, beruflicher Mobilität und Tourismus als Widerspruch und illusorisch, die Menschen aus armen Ländern von der Mobilität ausnehmen zu wollen. Schon heute begegnen sich die Sphären: Migranten und Flüchtlinge aus dem Süden landen in den Urlaubsparadiesen des Tourismus. Immer mehr Menschen - legale und illegale Migranten, Vertriebene, Rückkehrer, wechselweise in verschiedenen Ländern Lebende und Arbeitende - existieren in (dauerhaften) Provisorien, die sich in bestimmten räumlichen und architektonischen Formen ausdrücken. Diskussionen über Leitkultur erscheinen aus dieser Sicht provinziell. Die Autoren (BA 1/03) - bereits mit anderen sozio-kulturellen Zeiterscheinungen befasst - werfen einen ungewohnten, nachdenkenswerten Blick auf ein Charakteristikum unserer Zeit. (2)
