Energy band gaps of Hg(x)Cd(y)Mn(z)Te (x+y+z=1) epitaxial layers : Energieluecken von Hg(x)Cd(y)Mn(z)Te-Epitaxialschichten (x+y+z=1)

A method of preparation and the results of investigation of the absorption edge and the reflection coefficient for epitaxial Hg(x)Cd(y)Mn(z)Te layers are presented. A comparison of the calculated interband transition energies with experimental values is performed.
